More About Huntsville AL:
Huntsville was first settled by John Hunt in 1805. Once named Twickenham after Alexander Pope's Home in England at the request of Leroy Pope. It grew across the hills and the nearby Tennessee River with Textile mills and factories on the way to becoming a major city. NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center and the US Army aviation missile command in Redstone is also located in Huntsville.
